Job Summary
Deliver pizzas and other food items to customers across designated areas, navigating multi-story buildings and adverse terrain while carrying product up to 50 pounds. Operate delivery vehicles that must pass periodic safety inspections, ensuring all lights, brakes, and tires are functional. Perform inside tasks including stocking ingredients, preparing product, receiving telephone orders, and cleaning equipment and facilities daily. Make correct monetary change and process orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen. Work varying temperatures from 36 to 90 degrees and handle adverse weather conditions. Be available to work holidays and weekends.
Required Qualifications
- 18 years of age
- Valid driver's license
- Safe driving record meeting company standards
- Access to an insured vehicle which can be used for delivery
- Licensed in the US for at least the last 2 years minimum
- Ability to prove licensed driving history
- Insured driver on the insurance policy for the vehicle
- Vehicle must be registered
- Customer service skills
- Navigational skills to read a map
- Ability to locate addresses within designated delivery area
- Ability to navigate adverse terrain including multi-story buildings
- Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions
- Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co-workers to process orders both over the phone and in person
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly
- Ability to make correct monetary change
