Job Summary
Operate all equipment, stock ingredients from delivery area storage, work area, and walk-in cooler, and prepare product. Receive and process telephone orders, take inventory, and complete associated paperwork while cleaning equipment and facility daily. Deliver product by car to the customer's door, deliver flyers and doorhangers, and navigate adverse terrain including multistory buildings and private homes. Make several deliveries per shift, carrying pizzas, sides, and beverages, and climb five or more flights of stairs. Maintain a valid driver license with a safe driving record and access to an insured vehicle.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Driver License
- Safe driving record meeting company standards
- Access to insured vehicle which can be used for delivery
- Navigational skills to read a map, locate addresses within designated delivery area
- Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions
- Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co-workers to process orders both over the phone and in person
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly
- Ability to make correct monetary change
- Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders
- Motor coordination between wrist and hands/fingers to rapidly and accurately make precise movements with speed
- Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen
- Near and mid-range vision for most in-store tasks
- Depth perception
- Ability to differentiate between hot and cold surfaces
- Ability to direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, work alone and with others, work under stress, meet strict quality control standards, deal with people, analyze and compile data, make judgments and decisions
- Ability to stand
- Ability to walk short distances for short durations
- Ability to lift bulk products weighing up to 60 pounds
- Ability to carry large cans weighing 3 pounds, 7 ounces
- Ability to carry pizza sauce weighing 30 pounds
- Ability to carry trays of pizza dough weighing approximately 12 pounds per tray
- Ability to push a stack of trays weighing 7.5 pounds
- Ability to navigate stairs or climb a ladder
- Ability to forward bend at the waist
- Ability to crouch/squat occasionally
- Ability to reach above 72 inches occasionally
- Ability to reach down
