Job Summary
Operate all equipment, stock ingredients from delivery area to storage and walk-in cooler, and prepare product. Receive and process telephone orders, taking inventory and completing associated paperwork. Clean equipment and facility daily, navigate adverse terrain including multi-story buildings, and deliver bulk product deliveries twice a week or more using a hand truck. Make correct monetary change, enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen, and perform repetitive tasks while working under stress. Schedule is part-time at 15114 Inglewood Ave. Candidates must be 18 years or older with a valid driver's license, at least two years of licensed driving history in the U.S., and an insured vehicle. Orientation and training provided on the job.
Required Qualifications
- 18 years of age
- Valid driver's license with a safe driving record meeting company standards
- Access to an insured vehicle which can be used for delivery
- Licensed in the US for at least the last 2 years minimum
- Ability to prove licensed driving history
- Insured driver on the insurance policy for the vehicle
- Vehicle must be registered
- Customer service skills
- Navigational skills to read a map
- Ability to locate addresses within designated delivery area
- Ability to navigate adverse terrain including multi-story buildings
- Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions
- Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co-workers to process orders both over the phone and in person
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly
- Ability to make correct monetary change
- Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders
- Motor coordination between eyes and hands/fingers to rapidly and accurately make precise movements with speed
- Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen
- Ability to direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, work alone and with others, work under stress, meet strict quality control standards, deal with people, analyze and compile data, make judgments and decisions
- Ability to lift bulk product deliveries using a hand truck
- Ability to lift cases of ingredients and supplies weighing up to 50 pounds
- Ability to carry large cans weighing 3 pounds, 7 ounces
- Ability to carry pizza sauce weighing 30 pounds
- Ability to carry trays of pizza dough weighing approximately 12 pounds per tray
- Ability to push and pull trays which are placed on dollies
- Ability to navigate stairs or climb a ladder
- Forward bending at the waist
- Ability to grasp cans, the phone, the pizza cutter and pizza peel, and pizza boxes
- Ability to utilize pencils/pens, computers, telephones, calculators, TDD equipment, pizza cutter and pizza peel
- Must have an unsuspended or uninterrupted driving history of at least 1.5 years during the last 2 years
- No more than 1 violation and 1 at-fault accident associated within the last 2 years
- No more than 2 violations and 1 at-fault accident associated within the last 3 years
- No more than 3 violations in the last 3 years
- No more than 1 at-fault accident in the last 3 years
- No distracted driving/inattentive driving violations within the last 3 years
- No serious violations allowed in the past 5 years
- Ability to differentiate between hot and cold surfaces
