Job Summary
Deliver pizzas and beverages by car to customers within a designated area, navigating adverse terrain including multi-story buildings and private homes. Carry pizzas and beverages while walking and climbing five or more flights of stairs during delivery. Operate a vehicle with a valid driver's license and safe driving record, utilizing navigational skills to locate addresses. Receive and process telephone orders, stock ingredients from the delivery area to storage, and complete associated paperwork. Clean equipment and facility approximately daily. Make several deliveries per shift, ensuring product reaches the customer's door efficiently.
Required Qualifications
- 18 years of age
- Valid driver's license with a safe driving record meeting company standards
- Access to an insured vehicle which can be used for delivery
- Navigational skills to read a map, locate addresses within designated delivery area
- Ability to navigate adverse terrain including multi-story buildings
- Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions
- Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co-workers to process orders both over the phone and in person
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly (may use calculator)
- Must be able to make correct monetary change
- Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders
- Motor coordination between eyes and hands/fingers to rapidly and accurately make precise movements with speed
- Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen
- Far vision and night vision for driving
