Job Summary
Operate delivery vehicles to transport products and marketing materials to customers, navigating designated areas including multi-story buildings and private homes. Stock ingredients from storage and walk-in coolers, prepare products, and receive telephone orders while processing paperwork and inventory. Clean equipment and facilities daily, utilizing hand trucks to unload bulk deliveries weighing up to 60 pounds and stack items on shelves. Perform physical tasks such as carrying large cans, pushing dollies, climbing stairs, and bending at the waist for pizza assembly. Maintain accurate calculations for monetary change and use computers or touch screens to enter orders. Requires a valid driver license, safe driving record, and access to an insured vehicle.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Driver License
- Safe driving record meeting company standards
- Access to insured vehicle which can be used for delivery
- Navigational skills to read a map, locate addresses within designated delivery area
- Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions
- Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co-workers to process orders both over the phone and in person
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly
- Ability to make correct monetary change
- Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders
- Motor coordination between wywe and hands/fingers to rapidly and accurately make presice movements with speed
- Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen
- Near and mid-range vision for most in-store tasks
- Depth perception
- Ability to differentiate between hot and cold surfaces
- The ability to direct activities, perform repetetives tasks, work alone and with others, work under stress, meet estrct quality control standards, deal with people, analyze and compile data, make judgments and decisions
- Ability to climb a ladder to change prices on signs, wash walls, perform maintenance
- Forward bending at the waist
- Eye-hand coordination
- Use of hands is continuous during the day
- Ability to grasp cans, the phone, the pizza cutter and the pizza peel, and pizza boxes
- Ability to utilize pencil/pens, computers, telephones, calculators, TDD equipment, pizza cutter and pizza peel
