Job Summary
Delivery Driver responsible for delivering pizzas and other products to customers within designated delivery areas. Duties include operating delivery equipment, stocking ingredients, preparing products, receiving and processing telephone and in-person orders, taking inventory and completing related paperwork, maintaining cleanliness of equipment and facilities, and delivering orders by car to customers' doors (and distributing flyers/door hangers). Requires a valid driver’s license with a safe driving record and access to an insured vehicle for deliveries. Training is provided on the job, and employees must communicate effectively with customers and co-workers, process orders, navigate to addresses, and handle monetary transactions accurately. Works under varying weather and temperature conditions and performs lifting and physical tasks as part of daily duties.
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license with safe driving record meeting company standards
- Access to insured vehicle which can be used for delivery
- Orientation and training provided on the job
- Ability to read and process orders (written and verbal)
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly (calculator)
- Verbal and written communication skills
- Navigational skills to read a map and locate addresses within the delivery area
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks
- Ability to work in varying weather conditions and maintain safety
