Job Summary
Operate delivery vehicles and stock ingredients from the delivery area to storage and walk-in coolers. Prepare products, receive and process telephone orders, and communicate verbally with customers to handle orders in person. Clean equipment and facility daily while navigating adverse terrain including multi-story buildings. Perform accurate mathematical calculations for monetary change and enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen. Requires a valid driver's license, safe driving record, and access to an insured vehicle.
Required Qualifications
- 18 years of age or older
- valid driver's license
- safe driving record meeting company standards
- access to an insured vehicle which can be used for delivery
- navigational skills to read a map
- ability to locate addresses within designated delivery area
- ability to navigate adverse terrain including multi-story buildings
- ability to operate all equipment
- ability to communicate verbally with customers and co-workers to process orders both over the phone and in person
- ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide accurately and quickly
- ability to make correct monetary change
- verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders
- ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen
