Job Summary
Deliver pizzas and beverages to customers within a designated area, navigating multi-story buildings and adverse terrain. Operate a personal insured vehicle for door-to-door service while making several deliveries per shift. Stock ingredients from the delivery area to storage, walk-in coolers, and shelves up to 72 inches high. Receive and process telephone and in-person orders, manage inventory, and complete associated paperwork. Clean equipment and facilities daily. Handle bulk product deliveries weighing up to 50 pounds using a hand truck and navigate stairs or ladders as required.
Required Qualifications
- 18 years of age
- Valid driver's license with a safe driving record meeting company standards
- Access to an insured vehicle which can be used for delivery
- Navigational skills to read a map, locate addresses within designated delivery area
- Ability to navigate adverse terrain including multi-story buildings
- Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions
- Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co-workers to process orders both over the phone and in person
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly
- Ability to make correct monetary change
- Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders
- Motor coordination between eyes and hands/fingers to rapidly and accurately make precise movements with speed
- Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen
- Must navigate adverse terrain including multi-story buildings, private homes, and other delivery sites while carrying product
- Near and mid-range vision for most in-store tasks
- Depth perception
- Ability to differentiate between hot and cold surfaces
- Far vision and night vision for driving
- The ability to direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, work alone and with others, work under stress, meet strict quality control standards, deal with people, analyze and compile data, make judgements and decisions
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds
- Ability to climb a ladder
- Ability to navigate five or more flights of stairs
- Ability to push a stack of trays on a dolly requiring up to 7.5 pounds of force
- Ability to pull trays
- Ability to stoop and bend forward at the waist
- Ability to reach above 72 inches
- Ability to reach down to perform tasks such as scooping cornmeal or washing dishes
- Ability to reach forward when obtaining topping ingredients, cleaning work surfaces, or answering phones
- Eye-hand coordination
- Ability to use hands continuously during the day

- Ability to manipulate a pizza peel

- Ability to grasp cans, the phone, the pizza cutter, pizza peel, and pizza boxes
