Job Summary
Deliver product by car to customers within a designated delivery area for Domino's Pizza. Operate all delivery-related equipment, stock ingredients in storage and walk-in cooler, and prepare/pick up orders. Read and process telephone orders, enter orders into a computer system or touch screen, and maintain inventory and paperwork. Communicate effectively with customers and co-workers, understand written and verbal instructions, and provide accurate monetary change. Demonstrate strong navigation skills to locate addresses, read maps, and read a delivery map within the assigned zone. Handle physical tasks such as lifting up to 50 pounds, standing and walking for shifts that include climbing, bending, and reaching, and work in varying conditions (temperature changes, weather, and food odors). Training and orientation are provided; opportunities for advancement to management or franchise ownership paths are described. Essential skills include quick math for change, data entry, customer service, and the ability to operate delivery-related equipment and POS tasks.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 18 years old
- Valid driver's license with a safe driving record meeting company standards
- Access to an insured vehicle for delivery
- Navigational skills reading maps and locating addresses within designated delivery area
- Ability to navigate adverse terrain including multi-story buildings
- Orientation and training provided on the job
