Job Summary
Delivery driver for Domino's in Delray Beach area responsible for delivering pizzas and related duties. Must have a valid driver’s license with a safe driving record and access to an insured vehicle; navigate delivery routes, read maps, and communicate effectively with customers and co-workers. Operate store equipment, stock ingredients from delivery area, prepare product, process telephone orders, take inventory, and handle paperwork. Training/orientation provided. Requires strong basic math for making correct monetary change and using a calculator. Physically capable of standing, walking, lifting up to 50 pounds, and performing repetitive tasks in varying temperatures and conditions. The role offers flexible scheduling and opportunities for advancement within the company.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age
- Valid driver's license with a safe driving record
- Access to an insured vehicle for delivery
- Navigational skills/read a map to locate addresses within designated delivery area
- Ability to navigate adverse terrain including multi-story buildings
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately (may use calculator)
- Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co-workers to process orders
- Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touchscreen
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to stand, walk, and sometimes sit for extended periods
- Comfort with outdoor conditions and temperature variations
