Job Summary
Operate a vehicle to deliver pizzas within a designated area, navigate adverse terrain including multi-story buildings, and locate addresses using map skills. Receive and process telephone orders, stock ingredients from the delivery area to storage and walk-in coolers, and prepare products. Clean equipment and facilities daily, take inventory, and complete associated paperwork. Maintain a safe driving record and possess navigational accuracy to make correct monetary change and enter orders via computer or touch screen. This role offers flexible scheduling with opportunities for advancement to management or franchise ownership.
Required Qualifications
- 18 years of age
- valid driver's license
- safe driving record meeting company standards
- access to an insured vehicle which can be used for delivery
- navigational skills to read a map
- ability to locate addresses within designated delivery area
- ability to navigate adverse terrain including multi-story buildings
- ability to communicate verbally with customers and co-workers to process orders both over the phone and in person
- ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly
- ability to make correct monetary change
- verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders
- motor coordination between eyes and hands/fingers to rapidly and accurately make precise movements with speed
- ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen
