Job Summary
Conduct daily delivery operations within designated areas using a valid, insured vehicle and navigational skills for multi-story buildings. Operate all equipment, stock ingredients from delivery zones to storage and coolers, and prepare products. Receive and process telephone orders verbally, communicate with customers and co-workers, and make correct monetary change. Take inventory, complete associated paperwork, and clean equipment and facilities daily. Maintain safe driving records and perform basic math calculations accurately.
Required Qualifications
- 18 years of age
- valid driver's license
- safe driving record meeting company standards
- access to an insured vehicle which can be used for delivery
- navigational skills to read a map
- ability to locate addresses within designated delivery area
- ability to navigate adverse terrain including multi-story buildings
- ability to communicate verbally with customers and co-workers to process orders both over the phone and in person
- ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly
- ability to make correct monetary change
- verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders
- motor coordination between eyes and hands/fingers to rapidly and accurately make precise movements with speed
- ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen
