Job Summary
Deliver pizza, sides, and menu items to customers while projecting a positive image and obeying all traffic laws. Take orders over the phone and in person, greeting clients within ten seconds and building relationships. Prepare dough, re-stock toppings, and contribute to the line by making pizzas and assisting with store cleanliness. Handle cash, perform drops and reconciliation, and report tips accurately. Deliver leaflets and door hangers as required. Maintain a clean, reliable vehicle with a valid license and driving record, and navigate the store's delivery area using maps.
Required Qualifications
- An EXCEPTIONAL and POSITIVE attitude
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must hold a valid driver's license and provide proof of liability insurance
- Must have clean, unrestricted driving record
- Must have clean, reliable and safe vehicle
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly
- Must be able to make correct monetary change
- Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders
- Motor coordination between eyes and hands/fingers to rapidly and accurately make precise movements with speed
- Ability to use Domino's specific equipment issued (car toppers, hot bags, jackets) – display, return and properly store at the end of each scheduled shift
- Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen
- Ability to comprehend written instructions
- Ability to communicate verbally with customers and Team Members to process orders both over the phone and in person
- Talking and hearing on telephone
- Near and mid-range vision for most in-store tasks
- Mid-range and distant vision for delivery tasks
- Ability to differentiate between hot and cold surfaces
- Ability to stand, walk and drive throughout the course of scheduled work, for long periods of time: Most tasks are performed from a standing position
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
- Ability to lift cases weighing up to 50 pounds
- Ability to lift and stack cases up to 72 inches high
- Ability to carry large cans weighing 3 pounds, 7 ounces
- Ability to carry pizza sauce weighing 30 pounds
- Ability to carry trays of pizza dough weighing approximately 12 pounds per tray
- Ability to navigate stairs or climb a ladder
- Ability to move trays which are placed on dollies
- Ability to push a stack of trays on a dolly requiring a force of up to 7.5 pounds
- Ability to perform forward bending
- Ability to reach up, down and forward
- Eye-hand coordination is essential
- Use of hands is continuous during the day
- Ability to read area map(s)
- Ability to drive safely and courteously, obeying all traffic laws
- Ability to know the store's delivery area
- Ability to greet customers within 10 seconds
- Ability to build relationships with customers
- Ability to handle effective cash, cash drops and reconciliation
