Job Summary
Delivery Driver responsible for operating the delivery vehicle to transport products to customers, stock ingredients from delivery area to storage and prep areas, prepare product, take telephone and in-person orders, manage inventory and related paperwork, maintain cleanliness of equipment and facility, perform basic arithmetic for transactions and make correct change, use computer or touchscreen to enter orders, and communicate with customers and co-workers. Requires navigational skills to locate addresses within the designated delivery area and the ability to navigate adverse terrain including multi-story buildings and other delivery sites while carrying product. Also responsible for delivering product to customer doors and distributing flyers/door hangers; interactions with customers and co-workers to process orders.
Required Qualifications
- Must have valid driver's license
- Ability to operate a vehicle
- Ability to read and process orders
- Good math skills for cash handling
- Able to navigate delivery area
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to use computer, keyboard or touchscreen to enter orders
- Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co-workers
- Able to lift and move product as required
