Job Summary
Delivery Driver responsible for operating all equipment, stocking ingredients from the delivery area to storage and work areas (including walk-in cooler), preparing product, and processing orders. Requires taking telephone orders, maintaining inventory, completing related paperwork, and cleaning equipment and facilities daily. Must perform accurate arithmetic for cash handling and changing, with strong MAP/navigation skills to deliver product by car to customers, and to distribute flyers/door hangers. Role involves delivering to customer doorsteps, navigating various delivery sites (including multi-story buildings) and adhering to safety and accuracy standards in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to operate a car safely
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to read maps/navigate
- Basic math and cash handling skills
- Ability to take and process orders over the phone or in person
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to enter orders via computer or touchscreen
- Ability to work in a fast-paced delivery environment
- Ability to lift and carry delivery items
