Job Summary
Deliver pizzas and other food items to customers within a designated area using a valid, insured vehicle. Navigate addresses and adverse terrain while maintaining a safe driving record. Operate delivery equipment, stock ingredients from the delivery area to storage and coolers, and prepare products. Receive and process telephone orders, make correct monetary change, and communicate verbally with customers and co-workers. Clean equipment and facility daily, take inventory, and complete associated paperwork. This role offers flexible scheduling and opportunities for advancement to management or franchise ownership.
Required Qualifications
- 18 years of age
- Valid driver's license
- Safe driving record meeting company standards
- Access to an insured vehicle which can be used for delivery
- Navigational skills to read a map
- Ability to locate addresses within designated delivery area
- Ability to navigate adverse terrain including multi-story buildings
- Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co-workers to process orders both over the phone and in person
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly
- Ability to make correct monetary change
- Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders
- Motor coordination between eyes and hands/fingers to rapidly and accurately make precise movements with speed
- Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen
