Job Summary
Deliver pizzas to customers across designated areas using a personal insured vehicle with a valid license and safe driving record. Navigate maps and locate addresses within the delivery zone, including multi-story buildings and adverse terrain. Operate delivery equipment, receive and process telephone orders, and handle cash transactions accurately. Perform bulk product deliveries, unload cases weighing up to 50 pounds, and stack them onto shelves. Work varying hours with a flexible schedule, sometimes outside in adverse weather or extreme temperatures.
Required Qualifications
- 18 years of age
- valid driver's license
- safe driving record meeting company standards
- access to an insured vehicle which can be used for delivery
- navigational skills to read a map
- ability to locate addresses within designated delivery area
- ability to navigate adverse terrain including multi-story buildings
- ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions
- ability to communicate verbally with customers and co-workers to process orders both over the phone and in person
- ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly (may use calculator)
- ability to make correct monetary change
- verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders
- motor coordination between eyes and hands/fingers to rapidly and accurately make precise movements with speed
- ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen
- near and mid-range vision for most in-store tasks
