Job Summary
Operate all equipment, stock ingredients from the delivery area to storage and walk-in cooler, and prepare product for orders. Receive and process telephone orders, take inventory, and complete associated paperwork while maintaining clean equipment and facility standards daily. Navigate designated delivery areas using maps and read addresses, including multi-story buildings and adverse terrain. Maintain a safe driving record with a valid license and access to an insured vehicle. Work in varying weather conditions and temperatures ranging from 36 to 90 degrees, handling fumes, dust, and hot surfaces up to 500 degrees. Perform outside tasks such as trash removal. Orientation and training provided on the job.
Required Qualifications
- 18 years of age
- valid driver's license
- safe driving record meeting company standards
- access to an insured vehicle which can be used for delivery
- navigational skills to read a map
- ability to locate addresses within designated delivery area
- ability to navigate adverse terrain including multi-story buildings
- Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions
- Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co-workers to process orders both over the phone and in person
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly
- Must be able to make correct monetary change
- Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders
- Motor coordination between eyes and hands/fingers to rapidly and accurately make precise movements with speed
- Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen
