Job Summary
Deliver pizzas and beverages to customers' doorsteps within a designated area, navigating multi-story buildings and adverse terrain while carrying heavy loads up to 50 pounds. Unload bulk product deliveries using a hand truck and stack cases onto shelves up to 72 inches high. Process telephone and in-person orders, make correct monetary change, and complete associated paperwork at the desk. Operate delivery vehicles with a valid license and safe driving record, managing varying weather conditions and temperature extremes. Work primarily from a standing position with occasional stooping and climbing duties.
Required Qualifications
- 18 years of age
- Valid driver's license with a safe driving record meeting company standards
- Access to an insured vehicle which can be used for delivery
- Navigational skills to read a map, locate addresses within designated delivery area
- Ability to navigate adverse terrain including multi-story buildings
- Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions
- Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co-workers to process orders both over the phone and in person
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly
- Must be able to make correct monetary change
- Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders
- Motor coordination between eyes and hands/fingers to rapidly and accurately make precise movements with speed
- Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen
- Far vision and night vision for driving
