Job Summary
Deliver pizzas and beverages to customers while navigating adverse terrain, multi-story buildings, and varying weather conditions. Operate personal vehicles with a valid license, maintain safe driving records, and use hand trucks to unload bulk product deliveries weighing up to 50 pounds. Stock ingredients from the delivery area to storage, prepare products, and receive telephone orders while communicating verbally with customers and co-workers. Clean equipment and facility, make correct monetary change, and perform repetitive tasks under stress. Work in temperatures ranging from 36 to 90 degrees, handle hot surfaces up to 500 degrees, and manage cramped quarters including walk-in coolers.
Required Qualifications
- 18 years of age
- Valid driver's license
- Safe driving record meeting company standards
- Access to an insured vehicle which can be used for delivery
- Navigational skills to read a map, locate addresses within designated delivery area and must be able to navigate adverse terrain including multi-story buildings

- Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions
- Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co-workers to process orders both over the phone and in person
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly (may use calculator)
- Ability to make correct monetary change

- Motor coordination between eyes and hands/fingers to rapidly and accurately make precise movements with speed
- Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen

- Pushing trays which are placed on dollies

- Use of hands continuously during the day
- Ability to grasp cans, the phone, the pizza cutter and pizza peel, and pizza boxes
- Ability to utilize pencils/pens, computers, telephones, calculators, TDD equipment, pizza cutter and pizza peel
- Valid driver's license from the state of their primary residence
- License in good standing (i.e., not suspended, revoked or restricted)
- At least a two-year driving history (for individuals 18 years of age)
- At least a one-year driving history (for individuals 19 years of age and over)
- Proof of and maintain auto liability insurance
- Personal vehicle pass a vehicle safety inspection at the time of hire
