Delivery Director - Supply Chain Consulting (IT Programs)

Job Summary
Lead delivery for multiple concurrent client engagements in energy supply chain consulting, managing project quality, execution, and risk escalations from C-Suite to operational teams. Oversee junior staff, develop work plans, and perform QA/QC on analytics and deliverables for large IT and digital programs including ERP, GIS, and DERMS. Co-own sourcing, vendor selection, and contract structuring for system integrators while serving as the link between delivery teams and management. Surface and qualify expansion opportunities to support sales discussions, ensuring projects meet commercial contracts and margin targets. This hybrid role requires 60-80% travel and 2-3 days in-office presence, with a focus on team development and client satisfaction.
Required Qualifications
- 12+ years in a Consulting, Supply Chain, Operations, or Engineering function
- Proven track record of project management and project execution
- Bachelor's degree
- Post-graduate degree in relevant subject area
- Experience within the Power & Renewables and/or Oil & Gas sectors
- Exceptional analytical, problem solving, time management and managerial skills
- Strong project risk and escalation management
- Effective communication (oral and written)
- Ability to write persuasive documents and construct high-impact storylines
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated ability to lead a dynamic, cohesive team
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Ability to plan, prioritize, monitor and manage concurrent projects
- Managing multiple clients and/or projects
- Experience supporting large IT or digital programs
- Familiarity with IT category sourcing, system integrator and software vendor selection, licensing and subscription models, and vendor performance governance
- Comfortable owning engagement-level commercial outcomes including project margin and realization
- Experience in a procurement and delivery leadership role

- The nature of this role precludes it from consideration for part-time or flexible working arrangements
Desired Qualifications
- PMP certification

- Experience supporting large IT or digital programs is a strong plus, from either the owner or the advisor side, for example ERP, GIS, customer information systems, DERMS or network modernization
- Familiarity with IT category sourcing, system integrator and software vendor selection, licensing and subscription models, and vendor performance governance; this is a procurement and delivery leadership role, not a systems integration seat
- Post-graduate degree in relevant subject area is generally preferred
