Job Summary
Delivery Clerk responsible for providing customer service and coordinating furniture deliveries. Duties include answering inquiries via phone/email/in-person, scheduling delivery appointments, coordinating delivery team to ensure on-time deliveries, resolving delivery-related issues, updating customer accounts and delivery schedules in company systems, maintaining accurate records of customer interactions, providing feedback to management, and assisting with other tasks for the Furniture Delivery Department. Requires high school diploma or equivalent, 1-2 years of customer service experience, strong verbal and written communication, excellent organizational skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, basic computer proficiency, and bilingual English/Spanish capability. May involve occasional lifting up to 40 lbs and shifts including weekends and holidays; primarily indoor office with occasional outdoor coordination.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 years of experience in customer service or related field
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks
- Knowledge of basic computer programs and systems
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
- Must be able to speak English fluently
- Fluency in Spanish is highly required
