Job Summary
Delivery Assurance Consultant to assess plans, risks, issues, governance and reporting; identify delivery risks; provide evidence-based findings and recommendations; deliver reviews, health checks and assurance activity; work with PMO, planning, risk, digital and delivery; minimum 3 days in the office, pro-rata for part-time; role based in Manchester or Cheltenham with onsite commitment of a minimum of 4 days per week; security clearance may be required; inclusive culture and hybrid working arrangements emphasized.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in project or programme delivery, PMO, project controls or governance roles
- Experience supporting or delivering assurance work such as health checks, governance reviews, readiness reviews, stage gates or diagnostics
- Ability to assess evidence, identify delivery risks and write clear, practical recommendations
- Able to work with stakeholders at different levels and provide constructive challenge in a professional way
- Curious, thoughtful and comfortable exploring complex issues
- Objective, evidence-led and able to build trust quickly
- Pragmatic, collaborative and focused on improvement
