Job Summary
This seasonal Delivery Assistant provides product delivery and retail services on a designated route, implements themed promotions, marketing programs, and merchandising strategies. Responsibilities include administering product rotation policy, communicating significant market conditions, improving account relationships, and completing training requirements. Physical requirements include operating delivery equipment and lifting heavy items, as well as obtaining necessary certifications.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to operate a hand truck, six-wheel cart, straddle jack, and electric pallet jack
- Ability to obtain and hold a Texas Class C driver's license
- Ability to lift 50 lbs to overhead & 160 lbs to waist level repeatedly
- Ability to visually inspect and read code dates on products
- Ability to utilize standard hand-held computer input/output devices
- Ability to pass OSHA forklift certification
- Ability to manipulate standard hand tools, such as pliers, screwdrivers, and hammers
- Ability to climb a 10ft ladder
