Job Summary
Assist with deliveries to scheduled accounts while adhering to driving and safety regulations. Load, unload, and move product using appropriate equipment, maintaining a clean work area and stock shelves, coolers, and displays in retail accounts as directed. Rotate product to ensure quality standards and communicate issues to the Route/Swing Driver or Coach. Perform heavy lifting up to 165 lbs on-premise and 55 lbs off-premise, requiring ability to stand, walk, and climb ladders. Work Tuesday through Friday from 6:00am to 3:00pm or until completion, with a starting pay of $18.50/hour. Join the Andrews family as part of the top-ranked beer and spirits distributor in Texas.
Required Qualifications
- High School Graduate or Equivalent Certificate
- Current/Valid Driver's License
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time
- Ability to pull/push a load up to 100 lbs
- On Premise: Requires heavy and repetitive lifting/placement of products up to 165 lbs
- Off Premise: Requires heavy and repetitive lifting/placement of products up to 55 lbs
- Bends, stoops, squats, kneels, crouches, crawls, climbs ladders and stairs
- Ability to tolerate working in an environment with inside/outside ambient/extreme temperatures
- Must be able to work in noisy and crowded environments
- Driving may be required during the workday
- Ability to use a personal computer for tasks such as communicating via email, inputting data and other forms of documentation using company and industry software
- Ability to speak, hear, and see is required to communicate with employees, and to operate varied machinery, equipment, computers and vehicles
- Hand-eye coordination and fine manipulation skills
- Ability to perform job functions in compliance with company policies and procedures, including safety policies and best practices
- Must be able to maintain a current/valid driver's license
- Must maintain regular and punctual attendance
