Job Summary
Stock shelves, coolers, and displays daily at convenience stores while rotating products to ensure freshness and quality. Assist with unloading trailers by hand or using carts, and prepare damaged or outdated items for pickup. Secure and move displays as needed, place point-of-sale materials on mail shelves, and maintain clean back rooms by condensing back stock. Represent the company professionally and adhere to all safety guidelines, including lifting up to 165 lbs and using two-wheelers. Work in climate-controlled environments ranging from 32 to 38 degrees Fahrenheit, wearing steel-toed boots and gloves.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 19 years of age
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid Driver's License
- Ability to read and comprehend written instructions and information
- Must be able to lift, push, or move product that weighs 1-50 pounds, up to 165-pound kegs of beer
- Must be able to reach up to 72" to stack and unstack pallets and hand carts
- Must be able to bend, stoop, squat, and twist while loading and unloading products, stocking coolers and shelves, and rotating backroom stock
- Must be able to walk, stand, sit, bend, and climb stairs
- Must be able to safely lift a minimum of 24 lbs. without assistance, waist level, waist to shoulder level, shoulder level to overhead
- Must be able to push/pull up to 68lbs
- Must be able to lift a maximum of 165 lbs. floor to waist with appropriate equipment
- Must be able to handle (Grasp, turn, seize, hold)
- Must be able to step up/down 21-inch step
- Must be able to pay attention to detail, problem solve, troubleshoot, and make decisions
- Must be able to work in coolers with temperatures ranging from 32 degrees to 38 degrees
- Must wear Steel-toed boots/shoes with skid-proof soles
- Must be able to communicate effectively, both written and verbally, with employees and customers on all levels of the organization and retail trade
- Must be able to differentiate product types
Desired Qualifications
- Working knowledge of Excel and Outlook and either entry-level (or ability to learn) Mobility
