Job Summary
Delivery Assistant role focusing on supporting delivery and warehouse activities. Responsibilities include loading/unloading trucks, assisting with the delivery of merchandise to customers’ homes or businesses, stocking shelves, maintaining displays, general warehouse/store maintenance, directing trucks into unloading areas, recording deliveries, obtaining customer signatures, and assisting with repossessions as needed. Also performs customer service inspections and repairs, ensures cleanliness, and upholds Delivery Standards and the company’s HO.M.E values. Requires basic physical ability and experience in distribution/warehouse environments; Jr. High School Diploma or equivalent is acceptable.
Required Qualifications
- Jr. High School Diploma; six months experience in distribution or warehouse environment, shipping/receiving or delivering merchandise; or any combination of training, experience and education which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities for this position.
