Job Summary
Delivery Assistant to load/unload trucks and assist with the delivery of merchandise to customers' homes or businesses; Stock shelves and set up merchandise and promotion displays; perform warehouse/store maintenance; unload merchandise from trucks; assist delivery drivers with directing trucks into unloading areas; record deliveries and obtain customer signatures; assist with repossessions of goods; assemble merchandise as required; perform customer service inspections and repairs; maintain cleanliness and uphold Delivery Standards; adhere to HOME values: Helping others, developing Ordinary people to do extraordinary things, being a Motivated owner, and Ensuring excellence; support other store departments as required; comply with ADA and Equal Opportunity Employer policies.
Required Qualifications
- Jr. High School Diploma; six months experience in distribution or warehouse environment, shipping/receiving or delivering merchandise; or any combination of training, experience and education which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities for this position.
