Job Summary
Load delivery trucks, verify product accuracy, and deliver items to customer homes or facilities in a safe, professional manner. Assemble products correctly upon arrival and handle shipping and receiving duties. Maintain a safe driving record, hold a valid DOT card, and perform regular vehicle inspections. Deliver to special events like state fairs and model homes while ensuring timely invoicing and secure fuel card usage. Work in a 5S-compliant environment, complete all paperwork accurately, and maintain cooperative relationships with customers and vendors. Start at 7:30 am with no set end time, earning $18.00 per hour plus tips.
Required Qualifications
- High school degree or equivalent
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to successfully pass motor vehicle record (mvr) checks
- DOT certification
- Ability to lift 50 lbs regularly
- Ability to lift 100 lbs occasionally
- Ability to lift 200+ lbs as a team lift or with material handling equipment
- Ability to climb a ladder
- Ability to grasp small objects
- Visual acuity for operating the mechanical tools of the trade
- Ability to regularly stand, walk, bend and reach
Desired Qualifications
- 1 - 2 years of delivery and assembly experience
- Strong customer service-oriented background
