Job Summary
Delivery Driver at Aaron’s drives, loads, unloads, installs, and demonstrates merchandise for customers, both indoors and outdoors, while supporting store operations as needed. Responsibilities include loading and securing merchandise, safely operating a delivery vehicle, assisting with in-store tasks, and ensuring customer satisfaction. Requires solid communication, working knowledge of electronics, and the ability to perform physical work (lifting up to 50 lbs. unassisted, up to 300 lbs. with a dolly). Must have a valid driver’s license (no CDL required), be able to work in all weather, and meet DOT certification requirements where applicable. Roles are store-based with no overnight travel and opportunities for career progression within Aaron’s.
Required Qualifications
- HS diploma or equivalent preferred
- Must meet DOT requirements for certification (U.S.)
- A valid driver’s license is required, but not a CDL
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. without help and 300 lbs. with a dolly
- Able to work in all outdoor weather, including rain or summer sun
