Job Summary
Coordinate equipment installation, integrate new infrastructure, and manage local schedules for relocation and implementation across Manufacturing and Logistics teams nationwide. Work with stakeholders to improve operational efficiency and safety, balancing priorities based on national and processing centre requirements. Support business continuity while evolving work processes, including process engineering risk analysis and continuous improvement activities for the Engineering group. Manage contractor relationships and conduct workplace health and safety risk assessments within quality-regulated environments. This fixed-term role supports Lifeblood's purpose of providing life-giving donations for life-changing outcomes, focusing on ensuring innovation flows where needed most in our national operations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering & eligibility for Engineers Australia membership
- Experience managing small equipment projects in manufacturing or pharmaceutical industry
- Experience or exposure in equipment commissioning in a manufacturing / pharmaceutical or quality regulated environment
- Experience in contractor management and risk assessment
- Experience in workplace health and safety risk assessment processes in the context of equipment management
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proven ability to build effective internal networks, consult and collaborate with multiple stakeholders
- Excellent influencing and interpersonal skills
- Proven analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong organisational skills, including ability to manage concurrent activities on workplan
- Computer literacy in the Microsoft Office suite of software to intermediate level
- Fixed-term full-time position until July 2027
