Job Summary
Delivery and Business Development Manager to join PwC Czech Republic, focusing on delivering custom development services and AI software solutions for financial and industry sectors. Responsibilities include client relationship management, development team management, competency leadership within a technical guild, market exploration and relationship building, staying informed on market trends to shape service offerings, collaborating with product managers and solutions architects to deliver projects using agile methodologies, defining product roadmaps with the Product Manager, translating roadmaps into actionable user stories, representing the business perspective to external stakeholders and internal clients, leading collaborative planning and prioritization, matrix management of multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring quality assurance across product stages (alpha, beta, production). Required capabilities include leadership of data and AI teams, stakeholder management, business development acumen, domain familiarity with modern data/AI architectures, strong SDLC and DevOps alignment for DataOps/MLOps/LLMOps, interest in AI-first SDLC, and proficiency in Czech and English; travel up to 20% is anticipated; the role supports a hybrid work arrangement with approximately 75% remote work and occasional Prague office presence.
Required Qualifications
- Demonstrated Team Management: Proven leadership of multi-disciplinary Data & AI teams and portfolios, converting PoCs into scalable, production-grade solutions with measurable ROI
- Stakeholder Relationship Management: Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with business stakeholders and understand their needs
- Business Development Expertise: Success in business development activities, including creating compelling business cases for new services or offerings
- Domain Familiarity: Practical knowledge of modern data/AI architectures (lakehouse, streaming/event-driven, microservices/APIs, feature stores, vector databases, RAG patterns)
- Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC): Solid understanding of SDLC and its adaptation to DataOps/MLOps/LLMOps
- AI/GenAI Interest: Focus on transforming SDLC and standard ways of working to AI-first SDLC
- Project and Product Management Skills: Experience in planning, prioritization, and execution; beneficial for driving initiatives
- Agile Methodologies: Experience with agile methodologies; PSPO or PSM level knowledge
- Willingness to Travel: Up to 20% travel expected
- Language Skills: Professional working proficiency in Czech and English (written and spoken)
- Combined - 75% Remote, occasional office presence in Prague, attendance to regular planning sessions/workshops
