Delicatessen Clerk

Delicatessen Clerk at Hy-Vee responsible for safe food handling, maintaining a clean work area, and providing courteous, efficient customer service. Duties include running department registers, receiving payments and making change where applicable, assisting customers in locating products, stocking and replenishing deli items, preparing and finishing products, ensuring proper sanitation and freshness, following production lists, and coordinating with team members to deliver a positive shopping experience. Night and weekend shifts are required. Strong focus on customer service, teamwork, product knowledge, and basic math for transactions; familiarity with operating department equipment and maintaining store policies.
