Job Summary
Delicatessen Clerk responsible for handling food safely, maintaining a clean deli area, running department registers, and delivering courteous, efficient customer service. Primary duties include taking orders at the delicatessen counter, assisting customers, ensuring product freshness, following sanitation procedures, preparing and replenishing deli items, and working with teammates to ensure a positive shopping experience; night and weekend shifts are required. Must be able to understand instructions, perform basic arithmetic, and meet physical demands of the role (standing, lifting up to 50 pounds, and related tasks).
Required Qualifications
- Less than high school or equivalent experience
- Six months or less of similar or related work experience
