Delicatessen Clerk

Delicatessen Clerk at Hy-Vee responsible for handling food in a safe manner and maintaining a clean, neat work area. Responsibilities include running the department registers and receiving payments, providing courteous customer service, assisting customers with product selection and requests, following sanitation procedures, preparing and replenishing deli products, reviewing orders, and coordinating with team members to ensure customer satisfaction in a fast-paced environment. Must be able to perform basic arithmetic, understand instructions, and operate related equipment (e.g., slicer, scales, calculator) as part of daily duties.
