Job Summary
Ensure all deli products meet freshness and quality standards through proper rotation, dating, and accurate merchandising. Coordinate ordering and replenishment while verifying deliveries for accuracy and adherence to receiving and storage procedures. Execute planograms to maintain precise product placement and signage, and play a key role in compliance during item transitions and promotional events. Engage guests with a friendly approach on the sales floor to deliver an exceptional experience. Follow all TFM policies, food safety requirements, and sanitation procedures while supporting department readiness for seasonal events. This role requires a flexible schedule including weekends, days, evenings, and holidays, with a willingness to work up to four hours standing or walking.
Required Qualifications
- 1+ years of experience in retail, grocery, restaurant, or hospitality operations
- Strong attention to detail with organizational skills, ability to multitask, and work at a fast pace
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, days, evenings, and holidays
- Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds by oneself
- Ability to use tools and equipment: knives, ladders, stepstools, box cutters, pallet jacks, and other equipment
- Required to spend long periods of time on their feet and stand or walk without a break (for up to 4 hours or as required by law)
- Required to wear an approved hat, hair net, and/or beard guard, and personal protective equipment
Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Retail, culinary, and/or grocery experience
- Experience with electronic shelf label systems, inventory management technology, or AI-enabled retail tools
