Job Summary
Direct Deli staff scheduling and operations, ensuring safety and sanitation protocols are followed while leading timely prep work. Maintain prepared food inventory levels, review department invoices and return vouchers, and train new hires using the Deli Training Guide. Assist with food display stocking, production station cleaning, and general compliance with City Market procedures for sales, security, and operations.
Required Qualifications
- Two years of line cook, sous chef or chef experience
- Three years of kitchen experience
- High School diploma or GED
Desired Qualifications
- Culinary degree
- Servesafe certification
- Knowledge of natural and conventional foods and the food industry
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
