Job Summary
Provide a pleasant deli experience by engaging guests with hospitality and professional service; actively promote sales through product recommendations and knowledge of current promotions; greet guests and inform them of features, services, and recipes; prepare and portion foods, operate deli equipment, and maintain case cleanliness; mentor new associates and uphold safety, sanitation, and company policies in a fast-paced deli department. Strong emphasis on guest service, product knowledge, teamwork, and adherence to local regulations for food handling.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED; or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Valid State Food Handlers Permit
- Valid Driver's License or State I.D. Card
- Deli Skills Training levels One, Two, and Three
- Food Handler’s Safety Training
- HIPAA Training
- Yoke’s Safety Orientation Training / Active Shooter
- Yoke’s Guest Service Training & Commitment
