Deli Sales Associate at Weis Markets in Culpeper, VA. ESSENTIAL DUTIES: keep deli service areas stocked and appealing; greet customers and assist with questions; ensure freshness and proper pricing/signage; rotate products; handle spoiled items per procedures; operate slicing equipment to prepare meats and cheeses; package items with price/weight/date labels; prepare ready-to-eat foods and platters; ensure safe knife/kitchen use; follow recipes and safety policies; may operate cash register; handle money according to policies; comply with tobacco/alcohol laws; maintain sanitation and cleanliness per health/OSHA requirements; assist in inventory and waste reduction; PPE usage; may assist in other departments; training provided.
