Job Summary
Lead deli operations and develop a high-performing team to deliver friendly, efficient, and high-quality service while ensuring food safety, sanitation, inventory control, and cost management. Responsible for managing inventory, ordering, waste control, analyzing sales data to improve profitability, maintaining product quality and presentation, recruiting and coaching staff, scheduling coverage, and upholding company policies. Requires strong customer service, communication, reliability, and the ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment. Travel up to 10%, flexibility to work evenings/weekends/holidays, and standing for shifts are expected. On-the-job training is provided. Must be 18+ and able to meet physical requirements (standing, lifting up to 50 lbs, cooler work, etc.).
Required Qualifications
- Previous retail, food service, or customer service experience.
Additional Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older to apply
- Must be able to stand during the entire work shift
- Must be able to work in a cooler at 35 degrees for up to 30 minutes
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
- Must have visual acuity to check identification and process money orders
- Must be able to travel up to 10%
