Job Summary
Direct all Bakery Deli employees while maintaining proper signage, rotating inventory, and ensuring pricing integrity. Provide exceptional service to clientele, train staff on safe food handling, and complete required company training. Manage team scheduling, monitor sales and labor, and process credits from vendors. Adhere to all safety guidelines, wear name tags, and comply with dress code policies. Handle physical demands including lifting 60 lb. boxes and using sharp instruments. Report missing safety equipment and maintain clean department standards.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to lift 60 lb. boxes on occasion
- Must be able to exert 25-60 lbs. of force frequently
- Must be able to exert 10-20 lbs. of force constantly
- Must have dexterous use of both hands
- Must be able to stand and move about to various workstations
- Must be able to lift, carry, push and pull items
- Must be able to use knives and other sharp instruments utilized in the preparation of food items and/or removing product from boxes
- Must have good, corrected vision
- Must have hearing
- Must have the ability to work on floors that sometimes become slippery
