Job Summary
Direct all Bakery Deli employees while providing exceptional service and maintaining proper signage, cleaning, and product rotation in the salad and hot cases. Collaborate with the Pricing Coordinator to ensure pricing integrity, manage team scheduling, and process vendor credits. Train staff on safe food handling standards, enforce company policies including dress codes, and utilize the markdown program according to department guidelines. Maintain safety equipment and report any non-functional items immediately. This full-time, mid-level store role requires the ability to lift 60 lb. boxes, use sharp knives, and work on floors that may become slippery.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to lift 60 lb. boxes on occasion
- Must be able to exert 25-60 lbs. of force frequently
- Must be able to exert 10-20 lbs. of force constantly
- Must have dexterous use of both hands
- Must be able to stand and move about to various workstations
- Must be able to lift, carry, push and pull items
- Must be able to use knives and other sharp instruments utilized in the preparation of food items and/or removing product from boxes
- Good, corrected vision
- Good, corrected hearing
- Ability to work on floors that sometimes become slippery
