Job Summary
Deli Manager-Assistant oversees pricing, display, ordering, and inventory control in the deli department, ensuring presentation, cleanliness, and profitability in the absence of the Deli Manager. Responsibilities include supervising staff (scheduling, training), implementing merchandising programs, maintaining department standards, managing inventory to meet division turn goals, ensuring product quality, complying with ad item display, and supporting departmental sales and profitability. Qualifying candidates should have 1–2 years in the food industry, a High School Diploma or GED, strong customer service and leadership skills, and preferably training experience. Location is Chandler, AZ, USA; role is part-time.
Required Qualifications
- No less than one-two years' experience in the Food industry
- High School Diploma/GED or relevant work history
- Strong Customer Service qualities
- Strong leadership ability
- Training experience preferred
