Job Summary
Conduct daily inspections of the service deli to ensure compliance with product quality, sanitation, and safety standards. Supervise personnel by scheduling shifts, training associates, monitoring performance, and resolving customer complaints. Manage inventory by ordering merchandise, taking periodic counts, and controlling shrink while maintaining accurate logs. Execute hands-on duties including receiving, cooking, slicing, and packaging products to ensure freshness and proper merchandising. Implement seasonal displays and adhere to all federal and state food safety regulations.
Required Qualifications

- Ability to operate computer software and electronic ordering devices to order products, plan sales, input inventory and schedules, and print labels
- Mental alertness
- Knowledge of profit and loss statements
- Good attendance
- Ability to lift and maneuver objects of varying dimensions and weights up to approximately 55 lbs
- Ability to bend, stoop and reach frequently and occasionally climb ladders
- Ability to push and pull fully loaded hand trucks, six-wheel carts and pallet jacks
- Ability to perform repetitious arm movement to decorate, prepare and package products
- Manual dexterity and good eye-hand coordination
- Ability to operate kitchen utensils and equipment
- Ability to use latex and heat resistance gloves
- Ability to work nights, early mornings, weekends and holidays
- Ability to work in a temperature controlled store environment
- Ability to handle exposure to potential hazards with respect to cooking procedures, equipment and work aids
- Ability to handle exposure to approximately 400 degrees Fahrenheit while cooking products
- Ability to handle exposure up to 140 Fahrenheit while handling products in hot cases
- Ability to handle exposure to 35 Fahrenheit while handling products in cold cases
- Ability to handle exposure to 28 Fahrenheit while handling products in cooler
- Ability to handle exposure to -20 Fahrenheit while handling products in freezer
- Ability to handle exposure to water and cleaning agents
- Ability to handle frequent exposure to approximately 400 degrees Fahrenheit while cooking products
