Job Summary
Deli Manager oversees the Deli Department to deliver fresh, ready-to-eat products, exceptional customer service, and strong financial performance. Responsibilities include overseeing food production, merchandising, inventory, and team development while ensuring strict adherence to food safety and sanitation standards. Key duties cover overseeing food preparation, cooking, slicing, packaging, and service; managing ordering and production planning; executing merchandising and promotional programs; delivering fast, friendly service; hiring, training, and coaching deli associates; creating schedules; driving sales through quality products and effective merchandising; monitoring shrink, labor, and costs; and ensuring compliance with food safety and health regulations.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
