Job Summary
Prepare and fry menu items including crispy fried chicken, fish, mashed potatoes, mac & cheese, and potato wedges for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Maintain hot bar display conditions by garnishing items attractively, organizing stock, cleaning, and labeling while adhering to shrinking protocols. Collect food temperatures and maintain logs to ensure safety standards. Receive, prepare, and fulfill guest orders and special requests efficiently. Address guest concerns with a helpful attitude and provide deli recommendations. Work at a fast pace in changing temperatures, lifting up to 50 pounds, and standing or kneeling for long periods. Available for part-time or full-time hours including weekends and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Bending, kneeling, standing in plan for long periods of time
- Ability to work at a fast pace in changing temperatures (coolers, kitchens, freezers, sales floor)
- Regular, timely attendance in compliance with the work schedule
- Adequate notice to find a replacement for occasional absences
- Complete understanding of safety requirements and company policies
- Proper training in equipment and procedures including slicers, fryers, hot bar, and more
- Knowledge of perishable food
- Ability to work at a fast pace
- Ability to multitask in a dynamic environment
- Familiarity with various kitchen equipment
- Ability to handle high-pressure situations effectively
- Ability to interact tactfully with guests and personnel
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Experience in fast food, deli, or restaurant environments
