Job Summary
Prepare and display ready-to-eat products according to company and regulatory guidelines while providing exemplary customer service. Rework display cases to assess daily production needs, rotate stock, and bring cases from coolers for display. Clean and sanitize work areas, machines, floors, and utensils throughout the day, maintaining proper temperatures and adhering to health codes. Operate ovens, dishwashers, slicers, scales, and various tools including manual pallet jacks and marking guns. Package, wrap, weigh, and label product for sales; stage ingredients and refill dispensing machines. Proof, roll, shape, add toppings, and bake items such as chicken and hot dogs. Provide prompt service for special orders and customer requests. Occasional cash register and scanner operation required.
Required Qualifications
- Food Handling Certification as required by local government
- Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work
- Ability to speak and receive phone communications
- Strength, dexterity, coordination and visual acuity to use keyboard and video display terminal and other office equipment
- Continuously standing, walking, reaching at/below shoulders
- Ability to frequently lift/carry up to 50 pounds below waist
- Ability to frequently lift/carry up to 75 pounds at waist/chest
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 75 pounds
Desired Qualifications
- A High School Diploma or GED
- Food preparation experience
