Job Summary
Prepare food and display product in the department ensuring all items are fresh, rotated, and well-stocked while maintaining great customer service. Slice meats and cheeses, prepare and wrap sandwiches, and stock display cases to ensure date control. Process merchandise according to production guidelines and follow established sanitation standards, including the "Cleaner's Creed" and proper procedures for cooler, freezer, and work area maintenance. Unload deliveries, sweep and wipe sales areas, and report hazards to management. Operate equipment such as slicers and case cutters while exercising proper safety practices when lifting or moving product. Restock supplies efficiently and present a favorable impression in dress and business attitude. Commit to the "Golden Rule" to build a strong deli team.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age.
- Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English, with the ability to follow instructions.
- Ability to work a schedule based on the business needs of the store location.
- Authorized to work within the U.S.
