Job Summary
Greet customers and provide prompt, courteous service while selecting, packaging, and preparing deli items, salads, snack trays, pizzas, and entrees. Operate meat and cheese slicers, ovens, fryers, grills, cutting tools, scales, and other equipment to fulfill special orders and party trays. Maintain general housekeeping and sanitation standards in compliance with store policy and state and local health regulations. Display merchandise attractively and ensure a safe, clean environment. Observe all store rules, company policies, and shift operating hours as scheduled by the department manager.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Able to exert or lift to 50 pounds occasionally and exert or lift negligible amounts of weight often
Desired Qualifications
- High School Diploma or G.E.D equivalent preferred
- Prior work experience is preferred but not required
