Job Summary
Greet guests, prepare products for sale by frying, cutting, slicing, weighing, and pricing, and maintain product levels, quality, and freshness. Keep the cooler, freezer, prep area, and sales area sanitized, while maintaining a neat supply area. Communicate guest requests and temperature breakdowns to management or supervisors. Assist in product receiving and storage, announce specials on the PA system, and perform front porch duties to ensure guest arrival standards. Lift up to 50 lbs occasionally and work extended periods standing, bending, or kneeling. This part-time role supports the deli department's guest service and operational needs.
Required Qualifications
- Friendly, outgoing personality
- Ability to work well with others
- Ability to lift 25 lbs. consistently and 50 lbs. occasionally
- Ability to read and understand information and direction
- Effective communication, guest service and selling skills
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Ability to bend, kneel and stand for extended periods of time
